Dr. Chris has been treating patients in central Iowa since 2012 and opened Polk CIty
Chiropractic in 2015. Growing up around Carroll, Iowa he had a strong interest in the
health professions and knew that being a small town chiropractor would provide the
opportunity to work hands-on with patients and connect with the community. The Tigges
family are residents of Polk City and Dr. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife Lauren and
two daughters whether it be traveling or coaching, watching, or participating in sports.

When it comes to chiropractic care, Dr. Chris utilizes a whole-body biomechanical approach
to treating pain. By correcting joint motion with chiropractic manipulation, stress and
strain is reduced from the surrounding soft tissue which facilitates healing. We use a
number of therapies such as stretching, exercises, soft tissue manipulation, and
postural/ergonomic correction to accelerate the healing and stabilization of your injury so
you heal quickly and feel better longer.
